Setup and First Use
Unpacking
Carefully remove the iron from its packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers from the soleplate or body of the iron. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
- Set the steam control to the "Dry Ironing" or "No Steam" position.
- Open the water tank filler cap.
- Using a measuring cup, carefully pour tap water into the water tank up to the "MAX" fill line (240ml capacity). Do not overfill.
- Close the filler cap securely.
Note: For areas with hard water, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup and prolong the life of your iron.
First Use
During the first use, a slight odor or small flakes may be emitted from the soleplate. This is normal and will disappear after a few uses. It is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric first to ensure no residue is transferred to your garments.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
- Plug the iron into a 110V electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting based on the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
- Allow the iron to heat up. The ready indicator light will turn off when the selected temperature is reached.
Steam Ironing
Steam ironing is suitable for most fabrics except delicate ones like silk or synthetic materials that require low temperatures.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Set the temperature dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually between wool and linen).
- Once the iron reaches the desired temperature, adjust the steam control to the desired steam level.
- Begin ironing. The anti-drip feature prevents water spots at lower temperatures.
Steam Shot and Vertical Steaming
- Steam Shot: For stubborn wrinkles, press the steam shot button. A powerful burst of steam will be released. Wait a few seconds between shots to allow the iron to reheat.
- Vertical Steaming: Hold the iron vertically, about 15-30 cm away from hanging garments (curtains, suits, dresses). Press the steam shot button to release steam and remove wrinkles.
Spray Function
Press the spray button to release a fine mist of water onto the fabric. This is useful for dampening dry wrinkles before ironing.

Maintenance and Cleaning
After Each Use
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup and leakage.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any fabric residue. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metallic scouring pads.
- Wipe the exterior of the iron with a soft, damp cloth.
Anti-Calc System and Self-Cleaning
The iron features an integrated anti-calc system to reduce limescale buildup. For optimal performance, perform the self-cleaning function periodically, especially if you use tap water frequently.
- Fill the water tank to the MAX line.
- Plug in the iron and set the temperature to maximum.
- Once the iron reaches maximum temperature (indicator light turns off), unplug it.
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the self-clean button (if available, otherwise use steam shot button repeatedly) until all water and steam have been expelled, along with any impurities.
- Plug the iron back in and let it heat up to dry the soleplate. Unplug and store once cool.
Storage
Store the iron upright on its heel rest in a cool, dry place. Ensure the cord is neatly wrapped and not tightly coiled around the soleplate.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Iron does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outlet fault; temperature dial set to minimum. | Ensure iron is securely plugged in. Check power outlet with another appliance. Turn temperature dial to a higher setting. |
| No steam or insufficient steam. | Water tank empty; temperature too low for steam; steam control set to "dry"; mineral buildup. | Fill water tank. Set temperature to steam-appropriate level. Adjust steam control. Perform self-cleaning. |
| Water leaking from soleplate. | Temperature too low for steam; water tank overfilled; anti-drip system overwhelmed. | Increase temperature. Do not overfill water tank. Allow iron to heat fully before using steam. |
| Soleplate sticking or not gliding smoothly. | Residue on soleplate; ironing at incorrect temperature for fabric. | Clean soleplate with a damp cloth (when cool). Ensure correct temperature setting for fabric type. |
