Setup

1. Unpack the SUNUV UV LED Nail Lamp and all included accessories from the box.
2. Place the lamp on a stable, flat surface.
3. Connect the power adaptor to the lamp's power input port.
4. Plug the power adaptor into a suitable electrical outlet. The digital display should illuminate, indicating the lamp is ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Timer Settings

The SUN5Plus lamp offers four preset timer settings for optimal curing:

• 10s: For quick flash curing or thin coats.
• 30s: Standard curing time for most gel polishes.
• 60s: For thicker coats or darker pigments.
• 99s Low Heat Mode: Gradually increases power to minimize heat spikes, ideal for sensitive nails or builder gels.

Select the desired curing time by pressing the corresponding button on the top of the lamp. The digital display will show the countdown.

Smart Sensor Operation

The lamp features an automatic smart sensor. Once plugged in, simply place your hand or foot into the lamp, and it will automatically turn on. The curing process will begin, and the timer will start counting up if no preset time is selected, or count down from the selected time. Removing your hand or foot will automatically turn off the lamp.

Manicure and Pedicure Use

For pedicures, the base of the lamp is removable. Gently pull the base downwards to detach it from the main unit. This allows for comfortable placement of your foot under the lamp for curing. Reattach the base by aligning it and pushing upwards until it clicks into place.

Gel Polish Application Steps

1. Prep: Clean and prep nails. Apply a thin layer of base coat.
2. Cure: Place nails under the lamp and cure according to the base coat manufacturer's instructions (typically 30-60 seconds).
3. Color: Apply a thin layer of your chosen gel polish color. Cure under the lamp. Repeat for additional coats as desired.
4. Shine: Apply a thin layer of top coat. Cure under the lamp. Wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue and reveal a high shine.

• Why Won't My Gel Polish Cure?
  • It is completely normal for the base coat and color gel polish to be slightly sticky after drying - this helps each layer of polish adhere fully and firmly to the nail.
  • Only the top coat will fully cure and dry, giving you beautiful, salon-quality nails.
  • Our SUNUV nail lamps are designed to cure and dry gel polishes only, not regular nail polish. For regular nail polish, please use a fan or air dry.
• Help! My Gel Polish Is Taking Too Long To Dry.
  • Curing time varies for each gel polish brand. Look at the recommended curing time for your specific polish and dry accordingly.
  • We advise applying a thin layer of polish and curing each layer for 30 - 60 seconds. Avoid applying gel polish too thick.
• How Do I Avoid My Gel Polish From Stinging?
  • Make sure you clean up any gel polish that may have gotten on your skin or cuticles and do not apply your gel polish too thick.
