Setup Instructions

Operating Instructions

Using the Cigarette Lighter Sockets

Connect Devices: Plug your 12V/24V car accessories (e.g., GPS, dash cam, car refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, humidifier) into either the left or right cigarette lighter socket.
Activate Sockets: Each cigarette lighter socket has an independent ON/OFF switch.
- Press the "L" button to activate/deactivate the left socket.
- Press the "R" button to activate/deactivate the right socket.
When a socket is active, its internal blue LED light will illuminate.

Using the USB and Type-C Charging Ports

Connect Devices: Plug your USB-powered devices (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, Kindle) into the USB-A ports or the Type-C port.
Charging Output:
- USB-A Ports: Provide a total maximum output of 4.8A (2.4A per port).
- Type-C Port: Provides a maximum output of 1A (for iOS devices) or 1.5A (for Android devices).
Voltage Monitoring: The LED display continuously shows your car battery's voltage. This helps you monitor the battery's health and prevent over-discharge.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Ensure the device is unplugged from the car's cigarette lighter socket before cleaning.
Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
Keep the ports and sockets free from dust and debris.

Fuse Replacement

The Otium car charger features a built-in replaceable 10A fuse for enhanced safety. If the device stops functioning due to an overload or short circuit, the fuse may need replacement.

Locate the Fuse: The fuse is located at the tip of the cigarette lighter plug. Gently unscrew the tip to access the fuse compartment.

Remove Old Fuse: Carefully remove the old fuse.
Insert New Fuse: Insert a new 10A blade fuse (standard automotive fuse) into the compartment. Ensure it is securely seated.
Reassemble: Screw the tip back onto the plug.

Note: Always use a 10A fuse for replacement. Using a fuse with a different amperage rating can damage the device or your vehicle's electrical system.

Troubleshooting

Ensure your device is compatible with the provided output (2.4A for USB-A, 1A/1.5A for Type-C). Replace the 10A fuse in the Otium charger (see Maintenance section).
