The camcorder features three dedicated manual control rings on the lens barrel:

  • Iris Ring: Adjusts the aperture (f-stop) to control the amount of light entering the lens and depth of field.

These modes can be configured in the camcorder's recording settings menu.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Camcorder

  • Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of lens cleaning fluid. Avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers.
  • Body: Wipe the camcorder body with a soft, dry cloth. For dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
  • LCD Screen: Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid excessive pressure.

Always power off the camcorder before cleaning.

5.2. Battery Care and Storage

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid fully discharging batteries frequently, as this can reduce their lifespan.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

5.3. General Storage

When not in use, store the camcorder in a protective bag or case to prevent dust accumulation and physical damage. Avoid storing in areas with high humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations.
