Setup: Setting Your Combination Lock
Your cash box comes with a preset combination, usually 0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personalized 3-number combination:
- Ensure the cash box is unlocked and open. The factory default combination is typically 0-0-0.
- Locate the small lever or button on the inside edge of the lock mechanism.
- While the box is open, push the lever from position A to position B (or slide the button as indicated by the manufacturer's specific design).
- With the lever in the setting position, rotate the three number dials to your desired personal combination. Choose a memorable but secure combination.
- Once your new combination is set, return the lever from position B back to position A.
- Close the cash box and scramble the dials to lock it. Test your new combination to ensure it opens correctly before storing valuables.
Important: Remember your combination. There is no master key or override if you forget it.

Operating the Cash Box
Opening and Closing
- To open: Dial your 3-number combination. Turn the knob clockwise (or as indicated by the lock mechanism) until it clicks. The lid will then open.
- To close and lock: Close the lid firmly. Turn the knob counter-clockwise (or opposite to opening direction) until it clicks. Scramble the dials to secure the lock.

The cash box features a versatile interior for organized storage:

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Storage: Store the cash box in a dry environment to prevent rust or corrosion.
- Handle with Care: While durable, avoid dropping the cash box or subjecting it to excessive force, which could damage the lock mechanism or exterior.
Troubleshooting
Lock Not Opening with Correct Combination
- Verify Combination: Double-check that you are entering the correct 3-number combination. Ensure each dial is precisely aligned with the indicator mark.
- Reset Attempt: If you recently changed the combination, try the old combination in case the change was not fully registered.
- Mechanism Check: Ensure the knob is fully turned after entering the combination. Sometimes a slight jiggle can help if the mechanism is stiff.
