Setup and Installation

Unpacking:

  • Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity and from the oven door.
  • Inspect the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If any damage is present, do not operate the oven and contact customer service.

Turntable Installation:

  1. Place the turntable ring in the circular depression on the oven floor.
  2. Place the glass turntable on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center.
  3. Ensure the turntable rotates freely.

Placement:

  • Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
  • Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on the top, back, and sides for proper ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Keep the microwave away from heat and steam sources.
  • Do not place the microwave near a radio or TV, as it may cause interference.

Electrical Requirements:

Operating Instructions

Setting the Clock:

  1. Press the Timer/Clock button once.
  2. Use the number pad to enter the current time (e.g., 1-2-3-0 for 12:30).
  3. Press the Timer/Clock button again to confirm.

Time Cook:

This function allows you to cook for a specific duration at a desired power level.

  1. Place food in the microwave. Close the door.
  2. Press the Time Cook button.
  3. Enter the desired cooking time using the number pad (e.g., 1-0-0 for 1 minute).
  4. Press Power Level. The display will show "PL10" (for 100% power).
  5. Enter the desired power level from 1 to 10 (e.g., 7 for 70% power).
  6. Press START.

One-Touch Cooking:

For quick and convenient cooking of popular items, use the one-touch buttons.

  • Popcorn: Press Popcorn once for a standard bag.
  • Potato: Press Potato for one potato. Press multiple times for more.
  • Pizza: Press Pizza for a slice of pizza.
  • Frozen Veg: Press Frozen Veg for frozen vegetables.
  • Beverage: Press Beverage for heating a drink.
  • Dinner Plate: Press Dinner Plate for reheating a dinner plate.

For most one-touch functions, pressing the button multiple times may adjust the quantity or cooking time.

Express Cooking (1-6 Minutes):

To quickly start cooking for 1 to 6 minutes at 100% power:

  • Simply press the number button (1 through 6) corresponding to the desired cooking time in minutes. The oven will start immediately.

Add 30 Seconds:

To add 30 seconds of cooking time at 100% power during or after a cooking cycle, press the ADD 30 SEC button.

Defrosting:

The microwave offers two defrost modes: Time Defrost and Weight Defrost.

  • Time Defrost:
    1. Press Time Defrost.
    2. Enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad.
    3. Press START.
  • Weight Defrost:
    1. Press Weight Defrost.
    2. Enter the weight of the food in ounces or grams using the number pad.
    3. Press START.

Child Safety Lock:

To prevent unintended operation, activate the child safety lock.

  • To Activate: Press and hold the STOP button for 3 seconds. A lock indicator will appear on the display.
  • To Deactivate: Press and hold the STOP button for 3 seconds again. The lock indicator will disappear.

Maintenance and Cleaning
