- Secure the rear camera using its mounting bracket. If mounting externally, ensure it is waterproof.
- Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dash cam unit.

3.4. Connecting Power
- Plug the power cable (with the cigarette lighter adapter) into the power input port on the main dash cam unit.
- Insert the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.
- The dash cam should power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
The dash cam is designed to power on and begin recording automatically when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
4.2. Recording Modes
- Continuous Loop Recording: The dash cam records continuously in short segments. When the microSD card is full, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings.
- G-Sensor (Collision Detection): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-Sensor will detect the event and automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten. This ensures critical incident footage is preserved.
- Parking Mode: The dash cam features a built-in rechargeable battery that allows it to record even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. If an impact is detected while parked, the dash cam will automatically power on and record the event.
4.3. Night Vision
Equipped with infrared night vision, the dash cam provides clear video recordings even in low-light conditions, enhancing visibility during nighttime driving or parking.
4.4. Adjusting Camera Angles
The main unit's internal camera can be adjusted to capture footage of the vehicle's interior. The front camera's angle can also be adjusted on its mount to optimize the view of the road.
4.5. Accessing and Managing Footage
- On-Screen Playback: Use the dash cam's integrated screen and control buttons to navigate and play back recorded videos directly on the device.
- Via Computer: Remove the microSD card from the dash cam and insert it into a computer's card reader to access and transfer video files. Alternatively, connect the dash cam directly to a computer using the provided USB cable to access the card's contents.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Device
Regularly clean the camera lenses and the device screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure optimal recording quality. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2. MicroSD Card Care
To maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption, it is recommended to format the microSD card periodically (e.g., once a month) using the dash cam's menu settings. Back up any important footage before formatting.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's 12V power outlet.
- Verify that the vehicle's 12V power outlet is functioning correctly.
- Check the vehicle's fuse for the 12V outlet.
- Recording Issues (e.g., not recording, freezing, poor quality):
- Ensure a compatible microSD card is inserted and properly formatted.
- Format the microSD card through the dash cam's settings menu.
- If the issue persists, try using a different, high-quality microSD card.
- Clean the camera lenses to ensure no obstructions are affecting image clarity.
- Date/Time Resets Constantly:
- This may indicate an issue with the internal battery. Ensure the dash cam is consistently receiving power when the vehicle is running to allow the internal battery to charge.
- If the problem persists, contact customer support.
- Inability to Read License Plates:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from smudges or dirt.
- Verify that the video resolution is set to the highest available setting (1080P HD).
- Adjust the camera angle to minimize glare and optimize focus on the road.
