3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the refrigerator from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.

3.2 Placement

Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

3.3 Leveling

Adjust the front feet to ensure the refrigerator is level. This helps in proper door sealing and efficient operation.

3.4 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.

3.5 Power Connection

Connect the power plug (Type F - 2 pin, German and Spanish standard) to a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V). Allow the refrigerator to stand for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

4.1 Temperature Control

The internal temperature can be adjusted between 4°C and 18°C using the mechanical thermostat. Locate the thermostat control, typically inside the unit, and turn it to your desired setting. Lower numbers indicate warmer temperatures, higher numbers indicate colder temperatures. The appliance operates optimally when the external ambient temperature does not exceed 30°C (Climate Class: 4).

4.2 Shelf Adjustment

The internal shelves are adjustable to accommodate various bottle and can sizes. To adjust a shelf, carefully lift it and slide it out. Reinsert it into the desired grooves. Ensure shelves are securely placed before loading items.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For the glass door, use a glass cleaner.
• Door Seal: Clean the door seal regularly to ensure a tight seal and prevent energy loss.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

5.2 Defrosting

This appliance features a manual defrost system. Frost buildup on the evaporator can reduce cooling efficiency. Defrost the unit when the frost layer reaches approximately 5 mm thickness.

3. Leave the door open to allow frost to melt naturally. Place a towel at the bottom to absorb water.
