Important Safety Information

WARNING: The use of a swimming pool requires adherence to the safety guidelines described in the operating and maintenance instructions. To prevent drowning or other serious injuries, pay particular attention to the possibility of unexpected access to the pool by children under 5 years of age. Secure access to the pool and keep children under constant adult supervision during bath time. Please refer to local building regulations for all installation requirements. Prevent unsupervised access. Intex strongly recommends enclosing pools with a corresponding protective fence. Please contact your local building department for more information on applicable permit requirements.

  • Never leave children unattended in or around the pool.

  • Keep all electrical devices away from the pool.
  • Do not dive or jump into the pool.
  • Ensure the pool is installed on a level, stable surface.

Setup Instructions

  1. Site Preparation: Choose a firm, level area free of sharp objects, debris, and overhead power lines. Ensure the ground can support the weight of the filled pool (approximately 13,365 liters or 3,531 gallons).
  2. Ground Cloth Placement: Spread the ground cloth evenly on the prepared site. This protects the pool liner from punctures.
  3. Liner Unfolding: Carefully unfold the pool liner over the ground cloth. Position the drain plug away from the main traffic area.
  4. Frame Assembly: Assemble the steel frame components according to the diagrams in your separate assembly guide. Connect the horizontal beams to the T-joints and then insert the vertical legs. Ensure all connections are secure.
  5. Intex T-Joint component for pool frame

  6. Filling the Pool: Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom of the liner. Stop filling when the water reaches the fill line indicated on the liner, or approximately 90% capacity.
  7. Filter Pump Installation: Connect the filter pump to the pool's inlet and outlet fittings using the provided hoses and clamps. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Position the pump on a stable surface at least 2 meters (6.5 feet) from the pool.

Operation

Filter Pump Operation

The included filter pump is designed to circulate and filter the pool water, helping to keep it clean. The pump features Hydro Aeration Technology for improved water circulation and filtration.

  • Ensure the pump is properly connected and the power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet.
  • Run the filter pump for at least 4-6 hours daily to maintain water clarity.
  • Refer to the separate filter pump manual for detailed operating instructions, including backwashing and filter cartridge replacement.

Maintenance

Water Chemistry

Regularly test and adjust pool water chemistry to ensure a safe and sanitary swimming environment. Maintain appropriate levels for pH, chlorine, and alkalinity as recommended by local health authorities or pool chemical manufacturers.

Cleaning

  • Skim debris from the water surface daily using a pool skimmer.
  • Brush the pool walls and bottom weekly to prevent algae growth.
  • Vacuum the pool bottom as needed to remove settled debris.
  • Clean or replace the filter cartridge in the pump regularly (typically every 2 weeks, or more often with heavy use).

Pool Cover Use

Use the included pool cover when the pool is not in use to prevent debris from entering the water and to reduce evaporation.
