4.2. Ports and Connections

- DC IN: Connect the provided power adapter here.
- PHONES (3.5mm Jack): Connect headphones for private practice.
- AUX IN (3.5mm Jack): Connect external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to play along with music.
- MIC (3.5mm Jack): Connect a microphone for vocal input.
- SUSTAIN: Connect an optional sustain pedal.
- USB: Connect to a computer for MIDI data transfer or to a USB storage device for playback.
5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the keyboard on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space for the music stand and connections.
- Attach Music Stand: Slide the music stand into the designated slots on the top of the keyboard.
- Power Connection:
- Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC IN port on the rear of the keyboard.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
- Optional Connections:
- Headphones: Connect 3.5mm headphones to the PHONES jack for silent practice.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off and Volume
- Press the Power button to turn the keyboard on. The LCD display will light up.
- Rotate the Main Volume knob to adjust the sound level.
- Press the Power button again to turn the keyboard off.
6.2. Selecting Tones (Instruments)
The keyboard offers 300 different tones. The default tone is Piano.
- To select a tone, use the Tone +/- buttons or enter the two-digit tone number directly using the numeric keypad.
- Refer to the tone list printed on the keyboard panel for available options (e.g., 00-07 Piano, 08-15 Percussion, etc.).
- The selected tone number will be displayed on the LCD screen.
6.3. Selecting Rhythms
The keyboard includes 300 rhythms to accompany your playing.
- To select a rhythm, use the Rhythm +/- buttons or enter the two-digit rhythm number directly using the numeric keypad.
- Press Start/Stop to begin or end the rhythm playback.
- Adjust the rhythm speed using the Tempo +/- buttons.
- Use Fill In to add a short drum fill during rhythm playback.
6.4. Recording and Playback
The RJ461AX allows you to record your performances.
- Press the REC button to enter recording mode. The REC indicator on the LCD will light up.
- Begin playing. The keyboard will record your notes.
- Press Play Back to stop recording and play back your recorded performance.
- Press Play Back again to stop playback.
6.5. Alexa Integration
The keyboard features integrated Alexa functionality. Refer to the specific Alexa setup guide (usually a separate document or app instruction) for detailed instructions on connecting to your Alexa account and using voice commands. 7. Maintenance
