1. Introduction

The Futaba FX-36 is a flagship professional 18-channel remote control system designed for advanced model enthusiasts. 2. Setup

Before operating your Futaba FX-36, ensure proper setup and initial configuration.

2.1. Unpacking and Inspection

2.2. Initial Power-On

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
  2. Connect the battery to the transmitter.
  3. Press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates.
  4. The color touch screen will display the main menu.

2.3. Receiver Binding (R 7008SM)

To establish communication between the FX-36 transmitter and the R 7008SM receiver, a binding process is required. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the R 7008SM receiver for detailed binding procedures, as these may vary based on the receiver's firmware version.

2.4. Model Data Conversion

The FX-36 supports direct conversion of model data from FX22, FX30, FX32, T12FG, and T14SG systems. Model data from T16SZ and T18SZ are directly compatible. For T18MZ data, use the Model Data Converter V2.2 available from Futaba's download section on a PC.

The FX-36 utilizes professional ST-57 cross segments for precise control, similar to the T18MZ. The ergonomic design of the switches and transmitters ensures fatigue-free operation. Two optional sticker switches are also available.
