Setup and Installation

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Keep packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product's condition.
  2. Placement:
    • Place the cooler on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation. Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space at the back and sides of the unit for proper air circulation. Do not block the ventilation openings.
    • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators).
    • This unit is designed for freestanding installation only. Do not recess or build it into cabinetry.
  3. Leveling: Use the adjustable feet at the bottom of the unit to ensure it is perfectly level. This is crucial for proper door sealing and efficient operation. Turn the feet clockwise to raise and counter-clockwise to lower.
  4. Door Reversal (Optional): If desired, the door hinge can be reversed to open from the opposite side. Refer to the detailed instructions provided in the separate door reversal guide (if applicable) or consult the manufacturer's website for specific steps.
  5. Initial Power-On: After placement and leveling, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the unit into a grounded electrical outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The cooler features a digital touch panel for temperature adjustment. The working temperature range is 40°F to 61°F (4°C to 16°C).

  • Setting Temperature: Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the desired temperature. The display will show the set temperature.
  • Temperature Display: The display typically shows the current internal temperature. After setting, it will revert to showing the actual temperature inside the unit.
  • Recommended Temperature: For optimal wine storage, 55°F (13°C) is often recommended. Adjust as needed for other beverages.

Loading the Cooler

  • Ensure bottles and cans are placed horizontally on the wire shelves for stability and to maximize space.
  • Do not overload the shelves, as this can impede air circulation and cooling efficiency.
  • The removable shelves allow for flexible arrangement to accommodate different bottle or can sizes.

Interior LED Light

The blue LED interior light can be turned on or off via a dedicated button on the control panel. This light is designed to showcase your beverages without generating heat.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your wine cooler.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Interior Cleaning:
    • Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent.
    • Remove shelves and clean them separately.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry all surfaces before plugging the unit back in.
  • Exterior Cleaning:
    • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
    • For the glass door, use a glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Defrosting: This unit features manual defrost. Frost buildup on the evaporator plate (at the back of the interior) is normal.
    • When frost accumulation reaches about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick, unplug the unit.
    • Remove all contents and shelves.
    • Leave the door open to allow the frost to melt naturally. Place a towel at the bottom to absorb water.
    • Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to remove frost.
    • Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
  • Power Outage: In case of a power outage, keep the door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible.
