2. Components and What's Included

3. Setup

3.1. Inflation

The kayak features multiple air chambers for safety and rigidity. Use the included high-output air pump to inflate the kayak. Ensure all valves are securely closed after inflation. The kayak should be firm to the touch, but not over-inflated. Refer to the pressure gauge on the pump to ensure correct PSI levels as indicated on the kayak's surface.

3.2. Attaching Seats

Inflate the two bucket seats. Position them inside the kayak using the Velcro strips on the bottom of the seats and the corresponding areas on the kayak floor. Secure the seats further using the adjustable straps that clip to the D-rings on the kayak's sides. The seats can be adjusted for optimal comfort and support.

3.3. Installing Skegs

Select the appropriate skeg for your paddling conditions: the short skeg for shallow water or the long skeg for deep water. Slide the chosen skeg into the mounting slot at the rear underside of the kayak until it clicks securely into place.

3.4. Assembling Paddles

Assemble the two 86-inch kayak paddles by connecting the sections. Ensure the paddle blades are aligned correctly for efficient paddling. The paddles can be disassembled for easy storage in the carry bag.

3.5. Mounting Accessories

Attach the detachable fishing rod holders and the adjustable GoPro/mobile phone mount to the designated mounting brackets on the kayak. These accessories provide convenience for fishing and capturing your adventures.

4. Operation

4.1. Launching and Landing

Always launch and land the kayak in calm, shallow water. Ensure both occupants are seated and balanced before pushing off. When landing, approach the shore slowly and evenly to avoid damaging the kayak.

4.2. Paddling and Steering

Use the paddles in a coordinated manner for efficient propulsion. The removable skegs enhance directional stability. The longer skeg is recommended for deep water to improve tracking, while the shorter skeg is suitable for shallow water to prevent snagging.

4.3. Using Storage and Accessories

Utilize the extra space in the bow and stern for storing gear. Stainless steel D-rings are provided for securing dry bags and other accessories. The fishing rod holders keep your rods secure while paddling or waiting for a bite. The adjustable mount allows for hands-free recording with a GoPro or phone.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

After each use, rinse the kayak thoroughly with fresh water to remove any dirt, sand, or saltwater residue. Use a mild soap solution if necessary. Ensure the kayak is completely dry before deflating and storing to prevent mold and mildew.

5.2. Deflation and Storage

To deflate, open all air valves. The spring-loaded valves allow for fast deflation. Once deflated, fold the kayak neatly and place it in the provided carry bag. Store the kayak in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5.3. Repair

In case of minor punctures, use the included repair patch. Clean the damaged area, apply the patch according to the instructions on the patch kit, and allow sufficient time for it to cure before re-inflating the kayak.

• Kayak losing air: Check all valves for secure closure. Inspect the kayak's surface for punctures or leaks. Use soapy water to identify small leaks by looking for bubbles.
• Difficulty steering: Ensure the correct skeg (long for deep water, short for shallow) is properly installed and locked into place.
• Paddles feel inefficient: Verify that the paddle sections are fully connected and the blades are oriented correctly.
