Setup and Assembly

1. Assemble the Trailer Frame: Connect the trailer components as indicated by the design. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened.

3. Install the Pump: Attach the 100psi self-priming pump to the designated location on the tank or frame.

   • Connect the pressure hose from the pump outlet to the boom manifold or handheld spray nozzle connection point.
   • Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
5. Assemble and Attach the Boom:
   • Assemble the 3m foldable boom sections.
   • Attach the boom to the frame set, ensuring it can be adjusted for height and folded for storage.
   • Connect the boom hose to the boom manifold.
6. Connect Power: Attach the 3m power cord with battery clamps to a 12V power source (e.g., ATV battery). Ensure correct polarity.

Operation

The GIANTZ ATV 100L Weed Sprayer offers versatile spraying options:

1. Filling the Tank

• Ensure the tank is clean before filling.
• Mix chemicals according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Fill the 100L tank with the desired liquid, ensuring not to overfill.
• Securely close the tank lid.

2. Powering On

• Connect the 12V power cord to a suitable battery.
• Turn on the pump switch. The 100psi self-priming pump will begin to operate, delivering a flow rate of 13L/min.
• Monitor the pressure gauge (Figure 4) to ensure optimal operation.

3. Selecting Spraying Mode

The sprayer supports four primary spraying modes:

• Mounted on Trailer: The unit is designed to be towed by an ATV or similar vehicle.
• Low Level Spraying: Adjust the boom support poles for lower height applications, ideal for ground-level coverage.
• High Level Spraying: Adjust the boom support poles for higher height applications, suitable for taller plants or wider coverage.
• Handheld Spraying: Disconnect the handheld spray nozzle from the boom system and use it for spot spraying or areas inaccessible by the boom. The adjustable spray tube (80cm to 127cm) and three different nozzles provide versatility.

4. Boom Operation

• The 3m boom features 6 nozzles with adjustable spraying angles. Adjust the nozzles to achieve the desired spray pattern and coverage.
• The boom is foldable for easy transport and storage.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer:

• Cleaning After Use:
  • After each use, thoroughly rinse the tank, pump, hoses, and nozzles with clean water.
  • Run clean water through the system to flush out any chemical residues.
  • For certain chemicals, a specific cleaning agent may be required; consult the chemical manufacturer's instructions.
• Nozzle Maintenance: Regularly inspect nozzles for blockages or wear. Clean clogged nozzles with a soft brush or compressed air; do not use metal objects that could damage the orifice.
• Pump Care: The pump features built-in run-dry protection. However, avoid prolonged dry running. Check pump connections for leaks periodically.
• Hose Inspection: Inspect hoses for cracks, kinks, or damage. Replace any damaged hoses immediately to prevent leaks.
• Storage:
  • Drain all liquid from the tank and system before storing.
  • Store the sprayer in a cool, dry, and frost-free location, away from direct sunlight.
  • Fold the boom for compact storage.
• Trailer Maintenance: Check tire pressure and wheel bearings periodically. Lubricate moving parts as needed.
