4.1 Battery Installation

The scale operates on 2 AAA batteries. If the batteries are not pre-installed or need replacement, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Gently slide the battery compartment cover off.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.
