5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn the scale ON, press the Power button (). The display will show "0.000" or "0.00" when ready.
To turn the scale OFF, press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds. The scale also features an auto-off function to conserve battery life if left inactive for a period.

5.2 Changing Units

The scale can measure in both ounces (oz) and grams (g).

To switch between units, press the UNIT button. The current unit will be displayed on the LCD screen (e.g., "OZ" or "G").

5.3 Tare Function (Zeroing)

The Tare function allows you to zero out the weight of a container or to add multiple ingredients consecutively without removing previous ones.

Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
Press the Power button briefly. The display will reset to "0.000" or "0.00", indicating the container's weight has been tared.
You can now add ingredients to the container, and the scale will display only the weight of the added ingredients.

5.4 Weighing Items

Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface and powered on. The display should show "0.000" or "0.00".

5.5 Using the Snap-on Cover as a Weighing Tray

The protective cover can be inverted and used as a convenient weighing tray, especially useful for loose or small items.

Remove the snap-on cover from the scale.
Invert the cover so the raised edges form a tray.

Press the Power button to Tare (zero out) the weight of the tray.
