Setup

Charging the Battery

The radio comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery (500mA 3.7V). Before first use, or when the battery indicator on the LCD screen shows low power, charge the device.

1. Connect the supplied USB Charging Cable to the Micro USB port on the side of the radio.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
3. The charging indicator (if available, or observe battery icon on screen) will show charging status.
4. Charging is complete when the battery indicator shows full.

Connecting Earphones

For personal listening, connect the supplied earphones to the 3.5mm Earphone Jack on the side of the radio.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the radio on or off.

Adjusting Volume

Use the VOLUME slider on the side of the radio to adjust the listening volume. There are 20 levels of adjustment.

Switching Bands (AM/FM)

Press the AM/FM SCAN button to switch between FM and AM bands.

Tuning Stations

Use the TUNER +/- buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency.

Searching and Storing Stations

The radio supports three searching modes:

• Manual Search: Use TUNER +/- to find a station.
• Automatic Search: Press and hold AM/FM SCAN to automatically scan and store available stations.
• Full-Automatic Search & Store: (This is likely the same as Automatic Search, or a specific long-press function). The radio can store up to 29 stations per band (FM/AM).

Setting/Deleting Presets

Adjusting AM Step Value (9K/10K)

The default AM step value is 9K. If you are in certain countries (e.g., Brazil, Canada, USA), you may need to adjust it to 10K for proper AM tuning.

How to adjust Step Value:

1. Turn off the radio.
2. Long press the MEMO and M- (likely the TUNER - button) simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
3. The display will show "9" or "10".
4. Press the TUNER +/- buttons to switch between 9K and 10K.
5. The setting will be saved automatically.

• Store the radio in a clean, dust-free environment when not in use.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the radio to strong impacts.
