3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment cover on the back or side of the flash unit.
Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Use the provided AA High Capacity Batteries or other high-quality rechargeable/alkaline AA batteries.

3.2. Mounting the Flash

3.2.1. Hot Shoe Mounting

Slide the flash's mounting foot into your Canon DSLR camera's hot shoe.
Tighten the locking ring or lever on the flash unit to secure it firmly to the camera.

3.2.2. L-Bracket Mounting (Off-Camera)

Attach your camera to the L-Bracket's tripod screw.
Mount the flash unit onto the L-Bracket's accessory shoe.
