4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the port on the tool handle. Slide the battery into the handle until it clicks securely into place.
  2. To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and pull the battery pack out of the handle.
  3. Refer to your battery charger's manual for proper charging procedures. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

4.2 Installing and Removing Drill Bits/Screwdriver Bits

  1. Ensure the forward/reverse selector is in the center (locked) position to prevent accidental starting.
  2. Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
  3. Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit fully into the chuck.
  4. Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.
  5. To remove a bit, rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise and pull the bit out.

  2. Set the forward/reverse selector to the forward (drilling/driving) position.
  3. Position the bit on the workpiece.
  4. Press the trigger switch to start the drill. The speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed.
  5. Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the tool.
  6. For screwdriving, release the trigger as soon as the screw is fully driven to avoid over-tightening.
  7. For drilling, maintain consistent pressure until the desired depth is reached.
  8. To reverse the drill (e.g., to remove screws), set the forward/reverse selector to the reverse position.
