5. To remove a bit, rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise and pull the bit out.

5.1 Selecting Speed and Torque

• Gear Selector (High/Low Speed):
  • Position '1' (Low Speed): For high torque applications like screwdriving or drilling large holes in wood/metal.
  • Position '2' (High Speed): For fast drilling in wood, plastic, or small holes in metal.
• Torque Collar:
  • Rotate the collar to select the desired torque setting (1-10). Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher numbers for larger screws or harder materials.
  • The drill symbol setting is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque without clutch engagement.

5.2 Drilling and Screwdriving

1. Ensure the correct bit is installed and secured.
2. Set the forward/reverse selector to the forward (drilling/driving) position.
3. Position the bit on the workpiece.
4. Press the trigger switch to start the drill. The speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed.
5. Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the tool.
6. For screwdriving, release the trigger as soon as the screw is fully driven to avoid over-tightening.
7. For drilling, maintain consistent pressure until the desired depth is reached.
8. To reverse the drill (e.g., to remove screws), set the forward/reverse selector to the reverse position.
