4. Setup
4.1 Basic Point-to-Point Configuration
For quick pairing, set one unit to Master (H) and the other to Client (C) using the H/C switch. Press the Reset button on both units for 1 second to initiate automatic pairing. This avoids complex GUI configuration.
4.2 Advanced Configuration (Web Interface)
To access the web interface for detailed settings, connect your computer to the CPE via an Ethernet cable. Configure your computer's IP address to match the CPE's subnet (default IP: 192.168.1.253, username: admin, password: admin). Refer to the quick guide for specific instructions. 4.3 Power over Ethernet (PoE) Connection
The CPE80R units are powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the included 24V 0.5A PoE adapters. Connect the PoE adapter's PoE port to the CPE's PoE/WAN port, and the LAN port of the adapter to your router or network switch. Note that these devices use 24V PoE and are not compatible with standard 48V PoE switches.

5. Operating Modes
The CPE80R supports multiple operating modes to suit various network environments:
- AP (Access Point) Mode: Functions as a wireless access point, broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal.
- Bridge Mode (PTP/PTMP): Establishes a wireless link between two or more locations. Ideal for extending network connectivity over long distances, such as connecting IP surveillance cameras or extending home networks to outbuildings.
- Repeater Mode: Extends the range of an existing Wi-Fi network.

7. Maintenance
Regularly check the physical condition of the units and cables for any damage. Ensure the devices are free from obstructions. Periodically check for and apply firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security. The latest firmware can be found at the provided download link in the Setup section.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Connection: Verify power supply and cable connections. Ensure units are properly paired (Master/Slave). Check LED indicators for signal strength. Perform a reset by pressing the reset button for 1 second.
- Slow Speed: Ensure clear line of sight between units. Re-align units using the LED signal indicator. Check for interference from other 5GHz devices. Verify LAN port bandwidth (10/100Mbps).
- Accessing Web Interface Issues: Confirm your computer's IP address is in the same subnet as the CPE. Double-check default login credentials.
