Setup

The Intex Prism Frame Pool is designed for easy assembly, typically ready for water in about 30 minutes. Follow these general steps:

1. Prepare the Ground: Select a level area in your yard. It is recommended to use a ground cloth (not included) to protect the pool liner. Ensure the area is free of sharp objects, debris, and excessive slopes.
2. Spread Out the Pool Liner: Carefully unroll and spread the pool liner on the prepared ground. Smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom of the liner.
3. Assemble the Frame: Connect the horizontal poles using the innovative composite T-Joints. These T-Joints are engineered for high strength and infused with UV inhibitor for weather resistance.
4. Attach Vertical Poles: Insert the vertical poles into the bottom of the T-Joints and through the straps on the pool liner.
5. Fill with Water: Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, the pool walls will naturally take shape. Ensure the frame remains stable during filling.

Operating the Filter Pump

The included Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump (330 GPH) is essential for maintaining water clarity and hygiene. It incorporates HydroAeration Technology for improved circulation, filtration, and water clarity.

• Connect the pump to the designated inlet and outlet ports on the pool liner using the provided hoses.
• Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
• Plug the pump into a suitable outdoor electrical outlet.
• The pump features an auto-timer with preset 2 to 12-hour cycles. Refer to the pump's specific instructions for setting the timer and operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and cleanliness of your pool:

• Filter Cartridge Cleaning: The filter cartridge should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every few days) and replaced every 2-4 weeks depending on usage.
• Water Chemistry: Test your pool water regularly for pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels. Adjust chemicals as needed to maintain proper balance.
• Debris Removal: Use a skimmer net to remove leaves, insects, and other debris from the water surface daily.
• Liner Inspection: Periodically inspect the pool liner for any signs of wear, tears, or punctures. A repair patch is included for minor damages.
• Winterization: For colder climates, it is recommended to drain and disassemble the pool for winter storage to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
