Important Safety Instructions

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove the dryer from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.

Location Requirements

• Place the dryer on a firm, level floor.
• Ensure adequate clearance around the dryer for ventilation.
• Do not install in areas exposed to freezing temperatures or direct sunlight.
• The dryer operates on 110-120V / 50-60Hz power. Ensure a dedicated 1500W outlet is available.

Ventilation

The dryer must be connected to an exhaust vent. The included exhaust vent and mounting kit facilitate proper ventilation. Ensure the vent hose is not kinked or obstructed.

Installation Modes

The Panda PAN875W supports multiple installation modes:

• Side-by-Side: Place next to a washing machine.
• Stacking: Can be stacked on a compatible washing machine using a stacking kit (sold separately).
• Wall Mount: A wall mounting bracket is included for wall installation. Refer to the separate wall mounting instructions for detailed steps.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The dryer features a touch-screen control panel (refer to Figure 3) with various settings:

• Sensor Dry Functions: Auto, Eco, Heavy Dry, Delicate, Normal. These settings use an intelligent humidity sensor to automatically determine drying time.
• Manual Dry Functions: Hot, Warm, Air Dry. These settings allow manual control over drying temperature and time.
• Freshen Up: A cycle to refresh clothes without heat.
• Child Lock: Engages to prevent accidental changes to settings.
• Power Button: Turns the dryer on/off.
• Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the drying cycle.

Loading the Dryer

• Do not overload the dryer. The 3.5 cu.ft capacity is suitable for small to medium loads.
• Separate items by fabric type and weight for optimal drying results.
• Ensure all items are untangled before placing them in the drum.

Selecting a Drying Cycle

1. Press the Power button to turn on the dryer.
2. Load the laundry into the drum and close the door securely.
3. Select your desired drying function using the touch-screen controls:
   • For automatic drying based on humidity, choose a Sensor Dry option (Auto, Eco, Heavy Dry, Delicate, Normal).
   • For manual temperature and time control, choose a Manual Dry option (Hot, Warm, Air Dry) and adjust the time as needed.
4. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.

End of Cycle

The dryer will automatically stop when the selected cycle is complete. Remove laundry promptly to minimize wrinkling.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the Lint Filter

The lint filter (refer to Figure 7) must be cleaned before or after each load to ensure efficient drying and prevent fire hazards.

1. Open the dryer door.
2. Locate the removable lint filter inside the door opening.
3. Pull the filter straight out.
4. Remove any accumulated lint by hand or with a soft brush.
5. Reinsert the lint filter firmly into its slot.

Cleaning the Exhaust Vent

Periodically check and clean the exhaust vent and hose to prevent lint buildup, which can restrict airflow and pose a fire risk. The frequency depends on usage, but at least once every few months is recommended.

Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Interior Cleaning

Occasionally wipe the interior of the drum with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by a rinse with a clean damp cloth.
