Setup
1. Physical Placement
Place the soundbar on a stable, flat surface in front of your television, ensuring it does not obstruct the TV's remote sensor. Maintain adequate space around the soundbar for optimal sound dispersion. The soundbar can also be wall-mounted using an optional Bose soundbar wall bracket (sold separately).

2. Connecting to Power and TV
- Connect the power cord to the soundbar and then to a power outlet.
- Connect the soundbar to your TV using either the HDMI cable (recommended for ARC/eARC functionality) or the optical cable.
- HDMI ARC/eARC: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC/eARC port on your TV and the other end to the HDMI (ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Optical: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC/eARC port, connect the optical cable from your TV's optical output to the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar.
3. Bose Music App Setup

4. ADAPTiQ Audio Calibration

- Connect the ADAPTiQ headset to the port on the back of the soundbar.
- Wear the headset and sit in your primary listening positions (e.g., couch, armchair).

- Once calibration is complete, disconnect the ADAPTiQ headset.
Operating Your Soundbar
Universal Remote Control

- Power: Turns the soundbar on or off.
