Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BASSU60 amplifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound output | Power not connected, volume too low, instrument cable faulty, speaker cable disconnected (if applicable), effects loop issue. | Check power connection and switch. Increase Master volume. Test with a different instrument cable. Ensure all connections are secure. Bypass effects loop if used. |
| Distorted or weak sound | Input gain too high/low, faulty instrument, damaged speaker, incorrect EQ settings. | Adjust Gain control. Test with a different instrument. Check EQ settings. If distortion persists at low volumes, contact service. |
| Humming or buzzing noise | Ground loop, faulty cables, interference from other electronics. | Ensure proper grounding. Try different power outlets. Replace suspect cables. Move amplifier away from other electronic devices. |
| Effects (Chorus/Compressor) not working | Effect switch off, internal fault. | Ensure the respective effect switch is engaged. If still not working, contact service. |
