Installation Steps:

  1. Locate the Filter Compartment: The water filter compartment is typically found in the top-right or bottom-left corner of your refrigerator's fresh food compartment.
  2. Prepare the Filter: Remove the new AQUA CREST filter from its packaging.
  3. Install the Filter:
    • Observe the correct direction for installation, often indicated by a blue label arrow on the filter.
    • Insert the filter into the compartment. You may need to press down firmly to ensure proper seating. This will not harm the connector or the refrigerator.
    • Close the filter lid. If the lid cannot be closed, press the filter down hard to ensure proper installation.
  4. Flush the System: After installation, dispense approximately 2-3 gallons of water through the dispenser to flush out air and any carbon fines. This ensures optimal filter performance and clear water.
