The image above displays the Truper FUT-5 5L Sprayer. It consists of a translucent white tank with a black handle and pump mechanism on top. A clear hose connects the tank to a brass spray lance with an adjustable nozzle and a trigger handle. The tank has markings for volume measurement.
Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the tank, pump assembly, hose, and spray lance.
- Attach Hose: Connect the reinforced hose to the outlet on the sprayer tank and to the handle of the spray lance. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Fill Tank: Unscrew the funnel-type lid. Pour the desired liquid (water, pesticide, herbicide, etc.) into the translucent tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (5 liters).
- Secure Lid: Screw the lid back on tightly to ensure an airtight seal.
Operating Instructions
- Pressurize the Tank: Pump the handle up and down repeatedly until resistance is felt and the tank is sufficiently pressurized.
- Adjust Nozzle: Twist the brass nozzle at the end of the lance to adjust the spray pattern from a fine mist to a direct stream.
- Begin Spraying: Point the nozzle towards the target area and press the trigger on the spray lance handle.
- Continuous Spraying: For continuous spraying, engage the safety lock on the trigger handle.
- Release Pressure: After use, or if you need to open the tank, activate the pressure release valve located on the pump assembly to safely depressurize the tank.
Maintenance
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, especially when using chemicals, thoroughly rinse the tank, hose, and lance with clean water. Pump clean water through the system to clear any residue.
- Hose Cleaning: The reinforced hose has a detachable connection for easy cleaning. Disconnect and rinse as needed.
- Nozzle Maintenance: If the nozzle becomes clogged, remove it and clean any debris. Ensure the small opening is clear for proper spray.
- Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure the tank is empty and depressurized before storage.
- Seal Inspection: Periodically inspect all seals and O-rings for wear and tear. Replace if necessary to maintain proper pressure.
