5. Setup

5.1. Hardware Installation

  1. Hard Drive Installation (Optional):

    If a hard drive is not pre-installed, open the DVR casing, connect the SATA data and power cables to the HDD, and secure the HDD inside the DVR. Close the casing securely. The DVR supports one SATA HDD up to 4TB.

  2. Connect Cameras:

    Connect your surveillance cameras to the BNC "VIDEO IN" ports (V1-V8) on the rear panel. Ensure secure connections.

  3. Connect Monitor:

    Connect a monitor to either the VGA or HDMI "HD-OUT" port on the rear panel.

  4. Connect Audio (Optional):

    If using audio, connect audio input devices to the "AUDIO IN" ports (A1-A4) and an audio output device to the "A-OUT" port.

  5. Connect Network (Optional):

    For remote access and network features, connect an Ethernet cable from your router/switch to the "LAN" port.

  6. Connect USB Mouse:

    Plug the included USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the rear panel.

  7. Connect Power:

    Connect the 12V power adapter to the "DC12V" input on the rear panel, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The DVR will power on automatically.
