3. Safety Information
Before installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected to prevent electric shock. This device should be installed by a qualified electrician or a person with a thorough understanding of electrical systems. Do not exceed the maximum load of 10 Amperes. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
4. Installation Guide
The eMylo WiFi switch features an extremely simplified installation process using safe, convenient, and durable insulated terminals. No special tools are required for wiring.
- Disconnect Power: Turn off the main power supply to the circuit where you intend to install the switch.
- Identify Wires: Identify the neutral (N) and live (L) wires for both input and output. The switch has clearly marked input and output terminals.
- Connect Input Wires: Use the provided insulated connectors to connect the main power supply's neutral and live wires to the "Input" side of the eMylo Smart WiFi Switch.
- Connect Output Wires: Connect the neutral and live wires of your appliance (e.g., lamp, fan) to the "Output" side of the eMylo Smart WiFi Switch using the insulated connectors.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all wire connections are firm and secure within the connectors.
- Restore Power: Once all connections are verified, restore power to the circuit. The device indicator light should begin to blink, indicating it's ready for pairing.

5. App Pairing and Remote Control
The eMylo Smart WiFi Switch operates with the Smart Life or Tuya app, allowing remote control from your smartphone.
- Download App: Download and install the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register a new account or log in with an existing one.
- Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" to begin the pairing process. Select "Electrical" -> "Switch (Wi-Fi)" or "Light" -> "Light Source (Wi-Fi)".
- Confirm Indicator: Ensure the indicator light on the eMylo switch is blinking rapidly. If not, press and hold the reset button on the switch for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password in the app. (Note: The device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks).
- Pairing: The app will search for and connect to the device. Once connected, you can rename the switch for easy identification.
- Remote Control: From the app interface, you can now remotely turn the connected appliance on or off.

6. Voice Control Integration
The eMylo Smart WiFi Switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control.
- Link Account: In your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app, navigate to the "Skills" or "Works with Google" section. Search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" and enable the skill.
- Authorize: Link your Smart Life/Tuya account with your voice assistant account.
- Discover Devices: Ask your voice assistant to "Discover devices" or manually initiate device discovery in the app.
- Voice Commands: Once discovered, you can use voice commands to control your eMylo Smart WiFi Switch. For example: "Alexa, turn on the living room light" or "Hey Google, turn off the fan."

7. Timer and Schedule Functions
Automate your appliances with the timer and scheduling features available in the Smart Life/Tuya app.
- Countdown Timer: Set a specific duration after which the device will turn on or off.
- Scheduled Timers: Create daily or weekly schedules for your devices to turn on or off at specific times.
- Loop Timers: Configure devices to cycle on and off repeatedly at set intervals.
- Smart Scenes: Create custom automation rules based on conditions like sunrise/sunset, device status, or other smart home triggers.

9. Troubleshooting
- Device not pairing:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
- Confirm the device indicator light is blinking rapidly. If not, reset the device by holding the button for 5-10 seconds.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during pairing.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength near the device.
- Voice control not working:
- Verify that your Smart Life/Tuya account is correctly linked to Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
- Ensure the device is discovered by your voice assistant. Try rediscovering devices.
- Check your internet connection.
- Device unresponsive:
- Check if the device has power.
- Verify your Wi-Fi connection.
- If the device was recently powered off, it should retain its last state (configurable via app).
