5.1 General Grinding

  1. Add Ingredients: Place the desired amount of ingredients into the grinding bowl. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 80g (2.82oz) and ensure the bowl is at least 2/3 full for optimal results.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the transparent lid firmly onto the grinding bowl. The grinder will only operate when the lid is properly secured, activating the safety interlock.
  3. Start Grinding: Press down on the lid to begin grinding. The motor will activate.
  4. Monitor Fineness: Observe the grinding process through the transparent lid. Release pressure on the lid to stop grinding.
  5. Achieve Desired Consistency: Pulse the grinder in short bursts (e.g., 5-10 seconds) until the desired fineness is achieved. For continuous grinding, do not operate for more than 30 seconds at a time. Allow a 60-second break between 30-second grinding cycles to prevent overheating.
  6. Remove Ground Ingredients: Once grinding is complete, unplug the unit. Carefully remove the lid, then lift the grinding bowl from the base. Use the included brush/spoon tool to scoop out the ground ingredients.
