4. Setup and Assembly

Before operating the tool, proper assembly of the power head and desired attachment is crucial. Follow these general steps and refer to the assembly video for detailed instructions.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Attach Handle: Secure the loop handle to the main shaft using the provided tools.
2. Connect Attachments: The PROYAMA 6-in-1 system features a quick-release coupling for easy attachment changes. Align the attachment shaft with the power head's coupling and secure it with the locking pin. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. Install Blades/Chains:
   • Brush Cutter Blades: For the brush cutter, select either the 3-teeth or 40-teeth blade. Secure it firmly using the provided nuts and washers.
   • Pole Saw Chain: For the pole saw, ensure the chain is correctly oriented and tensioned on the guide bar. Lubricate the chain before first use.
4. Attach Guards: Always install the appropriate safety guard for the attachment being used.
5. Adjust Harness: Adjust the shoulder harness for comfortable and balanced operation.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the controls and starting procedure before operating the tool. Always wear appropriate PPE.

5.1. Starting the Engine

1. Fueling: Fill the fuel tank with the correct 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture using the provided mixing bottle.
2. Place Start Key: Ensure the start key is in the "Start" position.
3. Lock Throttle: Lock the throttle to the starting position.
4. Prime Unit: Press the primer bulb repeatedly until the primer hose is filled with fuel.
5. Choke Position: Move the choke lever to the "Choke" position.
6. Pull Starter Rope: Pull the starter rope rapidly 1-4 times until the engine "pops" or attempts to start.
7. Return Choke: Once the engine pops, return the choke lever to the "Open" position.
8. Final Start: Pull the starter cord again until the engine fully starts. Allow it to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.

5.2. Using the Attachments

5.2.1. String Trimmer / Weed Eater

Ideal for trimming grass and weeds around obstacles, fences, and garden beds. The string trimmer has an 18-inch cutting length. Ensure the string head is properly loaded with trimmer line.

5.2.2. Brush Cutter

For clearing thicker brush, dense weeds, and small saplings. The brush cutter comes with both a 3-teeth or 40-teeth blade for different cutting needs. The 40-teeth blade is suitable for heavier cutting tasks.

5.2.3. Hedge Trimmer

5.2.4. Pole Saw / Chainsaw Pruner

For pruning high branches without the need for a ladder. The pole saw can be adjusted with the extension pole to reach heights from 8.2 to 11.4 feet, offering a 10-inch cutting length. Ensure the chain is properly lubricated before and during use.

5.2.5. Edger

Provides clean and precise edges along sidewalks, driveways, and garden beds. The straight shaft design and wheel allow for easy maneuverability and consistent depth control.
