4. Installation

The Thermomate UT10 is designed for under-sink installation. Ensure the installation location is suitable, with adequate space and access to water and electrical connections.

4.1 Site Selection

• Choose a location directly under the sink or basin where hot water is required.
• Ensure the surface is level and capable of supporting the weight of the unit when full (approximately 16.5 kg).
• Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and maintenance.

4.2 Plumbing Connections

1. Turn off the main water supply to the installation area.
2. Connect the cold water inlet (marked blue) to the cold water supply using appropriate plumbing fittings. The unit does not require an expansion vessel.
3. Connect the hot water outlet (marked red) to the hot water tap.
4. Use the provided G1/2" brass bushings and gaskets for secure, leak-free connections.
5. Open the main water supply and check all connections for leaks.
6. Open the hot water tap to allow the tank to fill completely and purge any air from the system. Water should flow smoothly from the tap.

4.3 Electrical Connection
