Setup Guide

1. Connecting the Tablet

Connect the VEIKK A30 V2 Drawing Tablet to your computer or Android device using the provided USB Type-C cable. The Type-C port allows for convenient plug-in and out with either direction.

2. Driver Installation

For optimal performance and customization, it is highly recommended to install the latest driver for your operating system. Drivers can be downloaded from the official VEIKK website.

After installation, you may need to configure security and privacy settings on your operating system to grant necessary permissions to the tablet driver.

3. Basic Configuration

Once the driver is installed, you can open the VEIKK Tablet application to customize settings such as pen pressure sensitivity, assign functions to the customizable touch keys, and configure the gesture pad.

The tablet supports both right-hand and left-hand modes, which can be configured in the driver settings.

Operating the Tablet

Pen Usage

The battery-free pen offers 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for precise control over line thickness and opacity. It also supports 60° tilt function for natural shading effects in compatible software.

Touch Keys and Gesture Pad

Software Compatibility

The VEIKK A30 V2 is compatible with a wide range of creative software, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, SAI, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, Clip Studio, SketchBook, MediBang, Zbrush, Krita, and Gimp. It supports Windows 7 or later, Mac OS 10.12 or later, Android 6.0-13.0, and Linux.

Maintenance

Replacing Pen Nibs

The pen nibs are consumable parts and will wear down with use. Replace them when they become too short or sharp to ensure smooth drawing. Use the provided nib remover tool to carefully pull out the old nib and insert a new one.

Cleaning the Tablet

To clean the tablet surface, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no liquid enters the ports or buttons. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

General Care

Store the tablet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid dropping the tablet or applying excessive force to the surface or pen.
