4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the speaker and accessories for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
4.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal 7.2Ah rechargeable battery. Connect the power cable to the AC IN port on the rear panel and plug it into a standard electrical outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz). The charging indicator lights on the control panel will show the battery status (FULL, CHAR, LOW).
4.3 Placement
Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. For optimal sound projection, position the speaker in an open area.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the 'POWER' switch on the rear control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Flip it to 'OFF' to power down.
5.2 Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. The display will show 'LINE' or the last used mode.
- Press the 'MODE' button (usually labeled with an arrow icon) on the control panel or remote until 'BLUE' or 'BT' appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select 'beFree Sound' or a similar name from the list.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the display may show 'CONNECTED'.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
5.3 USB/SD/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or an SD/TF card (with compatible audio files) into the respective slot on the control panel.
- The speaker should automatically switch to USB or SD mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the 'MODE' button to select the correct input.
- Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) on the control panel or remote to manage your music.
5.4 FM Radio Operation
- Extend the antenna on the rear panel for better reception.
- Press the 'MODE' button until 'FM' appears on the display.
- Press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
- Use the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons to navigate through the saved stations.
5.5 Microphone and Guitar Inputs
- Connect a wired microphone to the 'MIC IN' jack or a guitar to the 'GT IN' jack on the control panel.
- Adjust the 'M.VOL+' (Microphone Volume) and 'GT.VOL+' (Guitar Volume) knobs to control the input levels.
- The 'ECHO' knob can be used to add an echo effect to the microphone input.
- The included wireless microphone will automatically connect when powered on.
5.6 Microphone Priority Function
Activate the 'MIC.PRI' (Microphone Priority) switch on the control panel. When active, the speaker will automatically lower the music volume when the microphone is in use, making the voice clearer.
5.7 RCA Input and Output
- RCA Input: Connect external audio sources (e.g., DVD player, mixer) using RCA cables to the 'INPUT' jacks (L/R). Select 'LINE' mode using the 'MODE' button.
- RCA Output: Connect the 'OUTPUT' jacks (L/R) to another speaker or audio system to extend the sound.
5.8 LED Light Control
The speaker features sound-reactive LED lights on the woofer. Use the 'LIGHT SW' switch on the control panel to turn the LED lights ON or OFF.
6. Charging and Battery
The speaker is equipped with a 7.2Ah rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, the 'LOW' indicator light will illuminate. Connect the speaker to an AC power source using the provided power cable to charge. The 'CHAR' indicator will light up during charging, and 'FULL' will indicate a complete charge.
