Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the light beam. The high intensity light can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity to prevent damage to the device.
  • Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Avoid exposing the flashlight to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • The flashlight comes with a white paper disc in the battery compartment, which needs to be removed before using. Also, ensure the battery barrel is fully screwed in for a secure connection.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Remove the white paper disc from the battery compartment if present. This disc is for insulation during shipping.
  3. Insert the two Lithium Polymer batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  4. Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure a secure connection and water resistance.
  5. Before first use, fully charge the batteries using the provided charger.

2. Mounting Options

The VASTFIRE Green Hunting Light comes with two primary mounting options:

Picatinny Rail Mount

This mount is designed for attachment to standard 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rails found on firearms and crossbows.

  1. Loosen the screw on the Picatinny rail mount.
  2. Attach the mount to your firearm's Picatinny rail.
  3. Place the flashlight into the 1-inch ring of the mount.
  4. Tighten the screws to secure the flashlight firmly in place.

Universal Scope Mount (1 inch to 30mm)

This mount allows you to attach the flashlight directly to your scope, accommodating scope diameters from 1 inch to 30mm.

  1. Open the clamp of the universal scope mount.
  2. Position the mount on your scope at the desired location.
  3. Place the flashlight into the other side of the clamp.
  4. Tighten the thumb screw to secure both the mount to the scope and the flashlight to the mount.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

The flashlight can be operated using two types of switches:

Push Button Switch

  • Press the button on the tail cap to turn the flashlight ON.
  • Press the button again to turn the flashlight OFF.

Remote Pressure Switch

The remote pressure switch offers dual control for tactical needs: constant on and momentary on.

  • Connect the remote pressure switch to the tail cap of the flashlight.
  • Use the toggle switch for constant illumination.
  • Press and hold the pressure pad for momentary illumination; release to turn off.

2. Zoom Function

The flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism to switch between a spotlight and a floodlight beam.

  • To zoom out for a wide floodlight beam (e.g., 100-yard floodlight for searching prey), pull the head of the flashlight forward.
  • To zoom in for a focused spotlight beam (e.g., 150-yard spotlight), push the head of the flashlight backward.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
  • Battery Care:
    • Always use the provided charger for the Lithium Polymer batteries.
    • Do not overcharge or completely discharge batteries.
    • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings and screw threads to maintain water resistance and smooth operation.
