1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your ASHATA Richer-R Portable DAB/DAB+ MP3 Player. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.
2. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components and controls of your device.

- M (Mode Switch): Press to switch between DAB/DAB+, FM, MP3, and Bluetooth modes.
- S (Channel Scan): In radio modes, press to scan for channels.
- VOL+ / VOL-: Adjust volume up or down.
- Prev / Next (|< / >|): Navigate tracks in MP3 mode, or stations in radio modes.
- Play/Pause (|| / >): Play or pause audio. Also answers/ends calls in Bluetooth hands-free mode.
- Mic: Microphone for hands-free calls.
- Charger Port: Micro USB port for charging.
- Power On/Off Switch: Slide switch to turn the device on or off.
- ANT Headphone Jack: 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, which also acts as the antenna.

3. Setup
3.1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. The built-in 900mAh lithium battery provides up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Charger Port on the device.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator may change color or turn off.

3.2. Inserting a TF Card (for MP3 Playback)
The device supports TF cards up to 32GB for MP3 music playback.
- Locate the TF card slot on the side of the device.
- Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.
3.3. Connecting Headphones
The included headphones also function as the antenna for radio reception.
- Plug the 3.5mm jack of your headphones into the ANT Headphone Jack.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- To power on, slide the Power On/Off switch to the "ON" position.
- To power off, slide the Power On/Off switch to the "OFF" position.
4.2. Mode Selection
Press the M (Mode Switch) button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: DAB/DAB+ Radio, FM Radio, MP3 Player, and Bluetooth.
4.3. DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation
Ensure headphones are connected to act as the antenna.
- Switch to DAB/DAB+ mode using the M button.
- Press the S (Channel Scan) button to initiate a scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. The device will automatically store found stations.
- Use the Prev (|<) and Next (>|) buttons to navigate through the stored stations.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.

4.4. FM Radio Operation
Ensure headphones are connected to act as the antenna.
- Switch to FM Radio mode using the M button.
- Press the S (Channel Scan) button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The device will store found stations.
- Use the Prev (|<) and Next (>|) buttons to navigate through the stored stations.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.
4.5. MP3 Player Operation
Ensure a TF card with MP3 files is inserted.
- Switch to MP3 Player mode using the M button.
- The device will automatically start playing MP3 files from the TF card.
- Use the Prev (|<) and Next (>|) buttons to skip tracks.
- Press the Play/Pause (|| / >) button to pause or resume playback.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.
4.6. Bluetooth Mode and Hands-Free Function
The device can connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices for audio playback and hands-free calls.
- Switch to Bluetooth mode using the M button. The device will enter pairing mode, indicated on the LCD screen.
- On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Richer-R" or a similar name.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your connected device through the MP3 player.
- For Hands-Free Calls:
- When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause button to answer.
- To end a call, press the Play/Pause button again.
- The built-in microphone (Mic) will be used for communication.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning
- Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2. Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
