Setup and Installation

Installation Steps (General Guidance):
- Preparation: Ensure the installation area is clear and that there is access to a power outlet. Mark the drilling points for mounting based on the hood's dimensions and mounting holes.
- Mounting: Securely attach the hood to the wall or under the cabinet using the provided screws and appropriate wall plugs. Ensure it is level and stable.
- Ducting (if applicable): If using exhaust air mode, connect the exhaust ducting to the hood's outlet and route it to the outside. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
- Recirculation (if applicable): If using recirculation mode, ensure carbon filters are installed (sold separately for some models) and that the air outlet is unobstructed for filtered air to return to the kitchen.

Operation

Fan Speed Control:
- The hood offers 3 performance levels to adjust the extraction power.
- Use the push buttons to select the desired speed:
- Level 1: For light cooking, simmering.
- Level 2: For normal cooking, multiple pans.
- Level 3: For heavy frying, grilling, or strong odors. This level provides up to 210 m³/h exhaust air performance.
- Press '0' to turn off the fan.
LED Lighting:
- The integrated LED lamp illuminates the cooking area.
- Press the light button (often marked with a light bulb symbol) to turn the light on or off.
Operating Modes:
- Exhaust Air Mode: Vapors are extracted and vented outside through a duct.
- Recirculation Mode: Vapors are filtered through a grease filter and an optional carbon filter (for odors), then returned to the kitchen. This mode is suitable when external venting is not possible.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your extractor hood. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
Grease Filter Cleaning:

- The hood is equipped with mesh filters to trap grease.
- These filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage).
- To remove: Locate the release latches or clips on the filter, push or pull them to release, and carefully lower the filter.
- Clean the filters by hand in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher on a low-temperature cycle. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.
- Re-install the filters by aligning them and pushing the latches back into place until they click.
Exterior Cleaning:
- Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the stainless steel finish.
- Wipe dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.
Carbon Filter Replacement (for Recirculation Mode):
- If operating in recirculation mode, carbon filters (not included with all models) are used to remove odors.
- These filters cannot be washed and must be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage).
- Refer to your specific carbon filter instructions for replacement procedures.
