Introduction

The Nyko Wireless Core Controller is a full-sized controller designed to enhance your gaming experience on Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. It offers an ergonomic design, turbo programming, and a lag-free Bluetooth connection. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your controller.

Please Note: The Wireless Core Controller does not contain an NFC reader.

Setup

Charging the Controller

Before first use, fully charge your Wireless Core Controller. Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the controller's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, computer USB port, or USB wall adapter).

The LED player indicators on the controller will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
A full charge provides up to 20 hours of gameplay.

Pairing with Nintendo Switch

From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select "Controllers", then "Change Grip/Order".
While on the "Change Grip/Order" screen, press and hold the SYNC Button on the top of the Wireless Core Controller for a few seconds until the player LEDs begin to flash.
Once paired, the player LED(s) corresponding to the controller number will remain lit.

Pairing with Android and PC

The Wireless Core Controller can also be used with Android devices and PCs via Bluetooth. Refer to your device's Bluetooth pairing instructions and search for "Nyko Core Controller" or similar in the list of available devices.

Operating Instructions

Controller Layout

The controller features a standard layout with opposing angle thumbsticks, a D-pad, XYBA face buttons, Home, Plus, Minus, Capture buttons, and shoulder/trigger buttons (L, R, ZL, ZR).

Turbo Function Programming

The programmable turbo button allows you to assign turbo functionality to any face buttons or triggers for rapid, automatic inputs.

Enabling Turbo and Auto-Fire:

Press and hold the TURBO button.
While still holding the TURBO button, single press any button(s) you wish to have turbo functionality.
To set the button to auto-fire, press the button you wish to set to auto-fire once more.
When you are finished with your settings, let go of the TURBO button.

Disabling Turbo and Auto-Fire for a Specific Button:

Turn off turbo: press and hold the TURBO button, then press the turbo enabled button(s) twice.
Turn off auto-fire: press the auto-fire enabled button(s) once while holding the TURBO button.

To reset all turbo and auto-fire settings on the controller, press and hold the TURBO button and the (-) button simultaneously.

Changing the Speed of the Turbo and Auto-Fire buttons:

This setting will affect the speed of all the turbo/auto-fire enabled buttons you have activated.

Press and hold the TURBO button.
To increase turbo/auto-fire speed, tilt the right analog stick up.
To decrease the turbo/auto-fire speed, tilt the right analog stick down.
When you are finished with your settings, let go of the TURBO button.

Maintenance

Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
To preserve battery life, fully charge the controller before long periods of inactivity.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Controller does not connect/pair.	Low battery; out of range; interference; incorrect pairing procedure.	Charge the controller; move closer to the console/device; ensure no strong interference sources; repeat pairing steps carefully.
Buttons/Thumbsticks are unresponsive.	Connection issue; physical obstruction; software glitch.	Re-pair the controller; check for debris around buttons; restart the console/device and controller.
Turbo function not working.	Incorrect programming; button not supported.	Review "Turbo Function Programming" section; ensure you are programming a supported button.
Controller does not charge.	Faulty cable/port; power source issue.	Try a different USB Type-C cable and/or power source. Ensure the cable is fully inserted.
