Important Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, explosion, or burn hazard, which could cause property damage, personal injury, or death.

  • Always operate the grill outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Never use in an enclosed space.
  • Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 feet (3 meters) from combustible materials.
  • Keep children and pets away from the grill during operation.
  • Do not use gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol for lighting or relighting.
  • Always use food-grade wood pellets specifically designed for pellet grills.
  • Ensure the grease bucket is properly installed and regularly cleaned to prevent grease fires.
  • Never leave the grill unattended while operating.
  • Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning or moving.
  • Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

Unpacking and Assembly

Carefully unpack all components and verify against the packing list. Assembly typically requires two people. Refer to the separate assembly guide included with your product for detailed, step-by-step instructions. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely before initial use.

Key Assembly Steps (General):

  1. Attach the leg assembly to the main grill body.
  2. Install the wheels and lower storage rack.
  3. Mount the pellet hopper and control panel.
  4. Place internal components: heat baffle, grease tray, cooking grates.
  5. Connect the power cord and ensure all electrical connections are secure.

Initial Setup and First Use (Seasoning)

Before cooking food, the grill must be seasoned to burn off manufacturing oils and prepare the cooking surfaces.

  1. Load Pellets: Open the pellet hopper lid and fill with high-quality, food-grade wood pellets.
  2. Power On: Plug the grill into a grounded electrical outlet. Turn the main power switch to ON.
  3. Initial Start-up: Turn the temperature dial to the "Smoke" setting. Allow the grill to ignite and produce smoke. This may take several minutes.
  4. Seasoning Cycle: Once smoke is visible, set the temperature to 350°F (175°C). Close the lid and allow the grill to operate at this temperature for at least 45 minutes. This process seasons the internal components and grates.
  5. Cool Down: After seasoning, turn the temperature dial to "OFF" and allow the grill to enter its cool-down cycle. Once complete, unplug the grill.

Your grill is now seasoned and ready for cooking.

Operating Instructions

1. Understanding the Control Panel

The digital control panel allows you to manage the grill's temperature and monitor cooking progress. It typically includes a power button, a temperature dial, and a digital display showing current and set temperatures.

2. Starting the Grill

  1. Ensure the pellet hopper contains sufficient pellets.
  2. Plug the grill into a grounded outlet and turn on the main power switch.
  3. Turn the temperature dial to your desired cooking temperature or to "Smoke" for initial smoke production.
  4. The igniter will activate, feeding pellets into the fire pot. Smoke will begin to appear within minutes.
  5. Close the lid and allow the grill to preheat to the set temperature.

3. Temperature Control

The digital controller maintains the set temperature by regulating the pellet feed rate and fan speed. Minor temperature fluctuations are normal. For precise temperature control, keep the lid closed as much as possible.

4. Cooking Modes

  • Smoking (180°F - 225°F / 82°C - 107°C): Ideal for low-and-slow cooking, imparting rich smoky flavor. Use the "Smoke" setting for maximum smoke production.
  • Roasting/Baking (250°F - 350°F / 121°C - 177°C): Suitable for poultry, vegetables, and baked goods.
  • Grilling (350°F - 450°F / 177°C - 232°C): For general grilling of meats and vegetables.
  • Searing (450°F+ / 232°C+): Use the flame broiler for direct heat searing.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your grill.

1. Daily/After Each Use

  • Grease Bucket: Empty and clean the grease bucket to prevent overflow and fire hazards.

2. Monthly/Every 20 Hours of Use

  • Ash Removal: Allow the grill to cool completely and unplug it. Remove cooking grates, grease tray, and heat baffle. Use a shop vacuum to remove ash from the fire pot and grill body. Never use a household vacuum.
