4. Installation

Follow these general steps to install or replace the combined filter in your Moulinex fryer. Always refer to your specific fryer's instruction manual for detailed, model-specific guidance.

1. Ensure Safety: Disconnect the fryer from the power supply and allow it to cool completely before handling any internal components.
2. Locate Filter Compartment: Identify the filter compartment, typically located in the lid of the fryer.

4. Insert New Filter: Place the new vhbw combined filter into the compartment. Ensure it sits flush and correctly oriented according to your fryer's design. The filter has a black active carbon side and a white fleece side; typically, the white side faces the inside of the fryer to capture grease, and the black side faces outwards to absorb odors from the exhaust.
5. Close Compartment: Securely close the filter compartment cover.

Once installed, the vhbw combined filter operates passively during the frying process. As hot air and vapors containing grease particles and odors are expelled from the fryer, they pass through the filter. The fleece layer traps grease, while the activated carbon absorbs odors, preventing them from dispersing into your kitchen environment.
