2. Safety Information

6. Installation and Setup

6.1 Mounting the Keypad

  1. Choose a suitable mounting location, ensuring it is flat and stable.
  2. Use the provided template (if available) or measure the keypad dimensions to mark drilling points for the mounting screws.
  3. Drill holes and insert wall plugs if mounting on masonry or drywall.
  4. Secure the keypad to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure the wiring cable passes through the designated opening.

6.2 Wiring Diagram

The keypad requires a DC12V power supply. Connect the keypad to your electric lock, power supply, and exit button according to the following diagram. Note that the lock, power supply, and exit button are not included in the package.

  • DC 12-24V (Red): Positive terminal of the power supply.
  • GND (Black): Negative terminal of the power supply.
  • NO (Blue): Normally Open contact for the electric lock.
  • COM (Purple): Common contact for the electric lock.
  • NC (Orange): Normally Closed contact for the electric lock.
  • OPEN (Yellow): Connects to the exit button.
  • D0 (Green), D1 (White): WG26 data lines for external reader.
  • BELL_A (Pink), BELL_B (Pink): Doorbell connections.

7. Basic Operation

Once installed and powered, the keypad is ready for basic operation. Initial access will typically require a default administrator password or a pre-programmed card.

7.1 Accessing the Door

  • Using an RFID Card: Present a registered RFID card or key fob to the EM card reader area on the keypad. The indicator light will change, and the door will unlock for the set duration.
  • Using a Password (PIN): Enter your registered 4-6 digit password on the keypad, then press the '#' key. The indicator light will change, and the door will unlock.
  • Using Card + Password: Present your registered RFID card, then enter your password and press '#'. This method provides a higher level of security.

7.2 Using the Doorbell

If an external doorbell is connected to the keypad, pressing the bell icon button on the keypad will activate the doorbell.

8. Programming

All programming is done directly through the keypad. The device typically has a default Master Password (e.g., 123456) which should be changed immediately after installation for security.

8.1 Enter/Exit Programming Mode

  • To Enter: Press '*' then enter the Master Password (default: 123456), then press '#'. The indicator light will change (e.g., solid red) to confirm entry into programming mode.
  • To Exit: Press '*' to exit programming mode.

8.2 Change Master Password

  • Enter Programming Mode.
  • Press '0' (or specific code for changing admin password).
  • Enter the new 4-6 digit Master Password, then press '#'.
  • Re-enter the new Master Password, then press '#'.
  • Exit Programming Mode.

8.3 Add User Card/PIN

  • Enter Programming Mode.
  • Press '1' (or specific code for adding user).
  • To Add Card: Present the new RFID card to the reader. The keypad will beep to confirm.
  • To Add PIN: Enter a 4-6 digit user PIN, then press '#'. Re-enter the PIN, then press '#'.
  • Repeat for additional users or exit Programming Mode.

8.4 Delete User Card/PIN

  • Enter Programming Mode.
  • Press '2' (or specific code for deleting user).
  • To Delete Card: Present the RFID card to be deleted to the reader. The keypad will beep to confirm.
  • To Delete PIN: Enter the 4-6 digit user PIN to be deleted, then press '#'.
  • Repeat for additional deletions or exit Programming Mode.

9. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the keypad surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Firmware: This standalone device typically does not require firmware updates.
  • Battery: The device is corded electric and does not contain user-replaceable batteries.

10. Troubleshooting
