Setup

1. Battery Installation

If batteries are not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

2. App Download and Installation

Download the "FITINDEX" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Search for "FITINDEX" and install the application on your smartphone.

3. Initial Pairing and Calibration

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
Open the FITINDEX app and create your user profile.
Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
Step onto the scale briefly to turn it on, then step off. The display will show "0.0" or "CAL" indicating it's ready for calibration.
Step onto the scale again with bare feet. The scale will display your weight, and the app will automatically detect and pair with the scale via Bluetooth.
Follow any on-screen prompts in the app to complete the pairing process.

Operating Instructions

1. Taking a Measurement

Open the FITINDEX app on your smartphone and ensure Bluetooth is active.
Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
Step onto the scale with bare, dry feet, ensuring your feet are centered on the electrodes.
Stand still until the weight reading stabilizes on the scale's LED display.
The app will automatically receive and display your full body composition analysis.

2. Understanding the Display and App Data

The scale's LED display primarily shows your body weight. For a comprehensive analysis of 13 body composition metrics (including BMI, body fat, muscle mass, body water, bone mass, protein, BMR, skeletal muscle, fat-free body weight, visceral fat, metabolic age, and subcutaneous fat), refer to the FITINDEX app.

3. Multi-User Functionality

The FITINDEX app supports an unlimited number of user profiles. Each family member can create their own profile within the app. When a user steps on the scale, the app intelligently identifies the user and records their data to their specific profile, allowing for individual tracking of health progress.

4. Baby Weighing Mode

To weigh an infant or pet, first weigh yourself, then hold the baby/pet and step on the scale again. The app will calculate the difference to provide the baby's/pet's weight. Refer to the app for specific instructions on activating and using this mode.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the scale surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge the scale in water.
Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator appears on the display or in the app, replace all 3 AAA batteries with new ones.
Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

"Lo" or "Err" displayed.	"Lo" indicates low battery; replace batteries. "Err" indicates an overload or measurement error; step off and try again.
