2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the scale from its packaging. Inspect the scale for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present.

2.2 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert one CR2032 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.3 Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, which can affect precision.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the ZERO button. The LCD will light up and display "0g".
  • The scale features an automatic shut-off function after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

3.2 Unit Conversion

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available units: grams (g), kilograms (kg), milliliters (ml), fluid ounces (fl'oz), pounds (lb), and ounces (oz).

3.3 Tare Function

The tare function allows you to weigh ingredients in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale.
  2. Press the ZERO/TARE button. The display will reset to "0".
  3. Add your ingredients to the container. The display will show only the weight of the ingredients.
