1. Important Safety Information

• Mix the fuel and oil thoroughly in a separate, approved fuel container before pouring into the tiller's fuel tank.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Starting the Engine (Prime, Flip & Go System)

1. Fill Fuel Tank: Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct gasoline-oil mixture.
2. Prime: Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the clear return line or until the bulb is firm.
3. Choke: Move the choke lever to the "FULL CHOKE" position.
4. Start: Hold the tiller firmly and pull the starter rope with a smooth, continuous motion. The SpringAssist technology aids in easier pull starts.
5. Warm-up: Once the engine fires (usually after 1-3 pulls), move the choke lever to the "HALF CHOKE" position. After a few seconds, move it to the "RUN" position. Allow the engine to warm up for a minute before engaging the tines.

3.2 Tilling Operation

The TB225 is designed for cultivating soil up to 5 inches deep. Its adjustable tilling width allows for versatility in various garden sizes.

• Adjust Tilling Depth: The tilling depth can be adjusted by changing the position of the depth stake or wheel. Refer to your specific model's manual for detailed instructions on depth adjustment.
• Engage Tines: Squeeze the throttle trigger to engage the tines and begin tilling.
• Control Speed: Maintain a comfortable operating speed. Do not force the tiller; allow the tines to do the work.

3.3 Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, release the throttle trigger. The engine should shut off automatically. If it does not, move the engine switch to the "OFF" position.

• Clean After Each Use: Remove soil, debris, and plant matter from the tines, shield, and engine cooling fins.
