3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

Charging a Battery:

  1. Insert Battery: Align the grooves on the 40V Max Lithium-Ion battery with the corresponding rails on the charger. Slide the battery firmly into the charger until it clicks into place.
  2. Monitor Indicator Lights: The charger features indicator lights that display the charging status:
    • Red Light (Solid): Indicates the battery is charging.
    • Green Light (Solid): Indicates the battery is fully charged.
    • Flashing Red Light: May indicate a battery error or extreme temperature. Refer to the troubleshooting section.
  3. Charging Time: A fully depleted PowerSmith 40V Max battery can be fully charged in approximately 75 minutes. Actual charging time may vary based on battery condition and ambient temperature.
