Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, follow these basic precautions:

  • Ensure the appliance is connected to a potable water supply only.
  • Always have a water pipe outlet and a floor drainage outlet (gravity drainage) near the unit. This is requisite for proper operation.
  • Before first-time use, clean the ice machine and keep it in an upright position for 24 hours.
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Do not allow children to operate or play with the ice maker.
  • The ice storage bin does not have a freezing function; ice will melt over time. Remove ice promptly to prevent melting and overflow.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

Setup and Installation

Proper setup is crucial for the optimal performance of your ice maker. Please follow these steps carefully.

Important: After transport, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

2. Water Connection

The ice maker supports dual inlet modes: direct tap water connection or bottled water. Choose the method that best suits your setup.

Figure 3: Illustration of connecting the ice maker to either a tap water supply with a filter and floor drain, or using bottled water with a drain bucket.

  • Tap Water Connection: Connect the provided water inlet hose to a potable water supply. The water supply pressure should be between 0.04-0.6 MPa. Use the included filter for cleaner ice. Ensure the drainage pipe is connected to a floor drain.
  • Bottled Water Connection: If using bottled water, place a suitable water bottle on top of the unit. Connect the drainage pipe to a drain bucket or floor drain.

Note: A floor drain is required for using this machine, especially for continuous operation with tap water. If using bottled water, a drain bucket is necessary for melted ice and drainage.

3. Power Connection

Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (115V/60Hz).
