Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Turn the scale over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required batteries (typically AAA or CR2032, check compartment for specific type) ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can affect measurement accuracy.

After installing batteries, the scale may default to a specific unit (e.g., kg). To change the unit:

4. User Profile Setup (for Body Fat Measurement)

To use the body fat measurement function, you need to set up a user profile. The scale can typically store multiple profiles.

  1. Press the 'SET' button to enter user profile setup mode.
  2. Use the up/down arrow buttons to select a user number (e.g., P1, P2, P3...). Press 'SET' to confirm.
  3. Set your gender (Male/Female) using the arrow buttons. Press 'SET' to confirm.
  4. Set your height using the arrow buttons. Press 'SET' to confirm.
  5. Set your age using the arrow buttons. Press 'SET' to confirm.
  6. The scale will save your profile. Repeat for additional users if needed.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Weight Measurement

  1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
  2. Gently tap the center of the scale with your foot to turn it on. Wait for "0.0" to appear on the display.
  3. Step onto the scale with bare feet, standing still and centered on the glass platform.
  4. Your weight will be displayed and then flash, indicating the measurement is complete.
  5. Step off the scale. It will automatically turn off after a few seconds.

2. Body Fat and Body Composition Measurement

For accurate body composition measurements, ensure your feet are bare, clean, and make good contact with the electrode pads.

  1. Tap the scale to turn it on. Wait for "0.0" to appear.
  2. Press the up/down arrow buttons to select your user profile (e.g., P1).
  3. Once your profile is selected, step onto the scale with bare feet, ensuring each foot is on an electrode pad. Stand still.
  4. The scale will first display your weight, then cycle through your body composition measurements (e.g., body fat percentage, body water, muscle mass, bone mass, BMI, calories).
  5. Allow the scale to complete the full cycle of measurements.
  6. Step off the scale. It will automatically turn off.

Store the scale in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.

Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator appears on the display (or if the display becomes dim/unresponsive), it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup" section.
