4. Setup

4.1 Inserting a MicroSD Card

  1. Ensure the dash camera is powered off.
  2. Locate the TF Card Slot on the side of the device.
  3. Insert a Class 10 or higher MicroSD card (up to 32GB, not included) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

4.2 Mounting the Dash Camera

  1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the camera.
  2. Attach the suction cup mount to the dash camera's holder slot.
  3. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it.
  4. Adjust the camera angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Connect the car charger to the USB interface on the dash camera.
  2. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  3. The camera will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Automatic: The camera powers on and off automatically with the vehicle's ignition.
  • Manual: Press and hold the 'Turn On/Off Key' for a few seconds to manually power on or off the device.

5.2 Recording Modes

  • Video Recording: The default mode. The camera records continuously in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) based on settings.
  • Photo Mode: Press the 'Mode' button to switch to photo mode. Press 'OK' to take a picture.
  • Playback Mode: Press the 'Mode' button repeatedly to enter playback mode. Use 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to navigate videos/photos, and 'OK' to play/view.

5.3 Menu Navigation

  1. While not recording, press the 'Menu Button' to access settings.
  2. Use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to scroll through options.
  3. Press the 'OK' button to select an option or confirm a setting.

5.4 Loop Recording

The dash camera records video in continuous loops. When the memory card reaches its capacity, the oldest unlocked video files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures that recording never stops due to a full memory card.

5.5 Emergency Accident Lock (G-Sensor)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These locked files are stored in a separate folder on the MicroSD card.

5.6 Parking Monitor

When enabled, the Parking Monitor feature allows the dash camera to automatically power on and record a short video clip if it detects a vibration or impact while your vehicle is parked and the engine is off. This provides surveillance for your vehicle when unattended.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Device
