1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup

3.1. Attaching the Auxiliary Handle and Depth Gauge

The auxiliary handle provides additional control and stability during operation. To attach, loosen the handle grip and slide it over the drill chuck until it rests firmly against the drill body. Adjust the handle to a comfortable position and tighten the grip. The depth gauge can be inserted into the hole on the auxiliary handle to control drilling depth.

3.2. Installing and Removing Drill Bits

The ID13-80 features a 13mm keyless automatic chuck for quick and easy bit changes.

1. To Install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are open wide enough to insert the drill bit. Insert the bit fully into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.
2. To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and remove the drill bit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off and Variable Speed Control

• ON/OFF Switch: Press the trigger switch to turn the drill on. Release to turn off.
• Variable Speed Control: The trigger switch allows for variable speed. Pressing the trigger lightly results in lower speeds, while pressing it fully increases the speed up to 2800 RPM.
• Speed Adjustment Dial: A dial located on the trigger allows you to pre-set the maximum speed for specific applications. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the maximum speed.

4.2. Forward/Reverse Rotation and Lock-on Switch

• Forward/Reverse Lever: A lever located above the trigger controls the rotation direction. Push the lever to the left for forward rotation (drilling/screwing in) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws/bits). Ensure the drill is stopped before changing direction.
• Lock-on Button: For continuous operation, press the lock-on button while the trigger is fully depressed. To release, press the trigger again.

4.3. Drilling and Impact Hammer Mode Selection

The drill features a mode selector to switch between standard drilling and impact hammer functions.

• Drill Mode: For drilling into wood, metal, and plastic. Set the selector to the drill icon.
• Impact Hammer Mode: For drilling into masonry and concrete. Set the selector to the hammer icon.

4.4. 2-Speed Mechanical Gear Control

The drill is equipped with a 2-speed mechanical gear control for optimizing torque and speed:

• Gear 1 (-): Provides lower speed with higher torque, suitable for heavy-duty applications and larger diameter drilling.
• Gear 2 (+): Offers higher speed for lighter, faster drilling tasks and smaller diameter bits.

Always ensure the drill is stopped before changing gear settings.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your IBELL Impact Drill ID13-80.

• Cleaning: After each use, clean the drill housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep ventilation openings clear of dust and debris.
• Chuck Maintenance: Periodically clean the chuck jaws to ensure smooth operation and secure bit gripping.
• Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. If damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.
