2. Adjusting Settings (Control Unit)

The control unit allows you to customize your therapy session:

  • Power/Intensity Dial: Slowly turn the ON/OFF dial clockwise to turn on the device and gradually increase the intensity. Start at a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2) and increase gradually until you feel a comfortable, stimulating sensation.
  • Mode Button: Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through three different therapy modes (A, B, C). Each mode offers a unique pattern of stimulation. Choose the mode that feels most comfortable and effective for you.
  • Time Button: Press the 'Time' button to select your desired treatment duration: 10, 20, or 40 minutes. The device will automatically shut off once the selected time has elapsed.

3. Using with Body Pads (FlexTone Pads)

The Circulation Promoter is versatile and can be used for other body parts using the included FlexTone Pads. To do this:

  1. Detach the control unit from the base plate by unplugging the wire.
  2. Connect the included wire for the body pads to the control unit. This wire typically connects two pads.
  3. Peel the protective film from the back of the FlexTone Pads.
  4. Spray the sticky side of the pads with tap water (7-10 sprays) to ensure good conduction.
  5. Apply the pads to the desired area of your body. Refer to the included Pad Placement Chart for recommended placements.
  6. Slowly turn on the control unit and adjust the intensity, mode, and time as described above. Always start with a low intensity.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning and Storing Pads

After each treatment, always stick the FlexTone Pads back onto their protective film. This helps to maintain their stickiness and prolong their lifespan. If pads feel dry or you experience a slight stinging sensation, spray them with water or rub with wet fingers to re-moisten before use. Replace pads after 70-100 uses or when they no longer adhere well.

2. Device Care

Wipe the Circulation Promoter base unit and control unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Store the device and all accessories in the provided carry bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • No sensation or weak stimulation: Ensure the control unit has fresh batteries. Verify that the wires are securely connected to both the control unit and the pads/base. Make sure the foot pads/feet or body pads are sufficiently sprayed with water for good conduction. Increase the intensity dial gradually.
  • Stinging sensation: This usually indicates that the pads are too dry. Re-moisten the pads or your skin with water. Ensure the pads are making full contact with your skin.
  • Device not turning on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Turn the ON/OFF dial fully to the 'OFF' position and then slowly turn it back on.

If issues persist, please refer to the full instructional manual or contact customer support.
