Setup and Installation

The AUTO-VOX TD2 system is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Camera Installation

  1. Mount the Camera: Secure the camera near your vehicle's license plate. Ensure it has a clear view of the rear. The camera is IP68 waterproof and resistant to extreme temperatures.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the camera's power cable (red wire) to your vehicle's reverse light power supply (12V/24V). Connect the black wire to a ground point (metal chassis).
  3. Position Antenna: Ensure the integrated antenna on the camera's power cable is positioned vertically for optimal signal transmission.

2. Monitor Installation

  1. Mount the Monitor: Attach the suction cup mount to your dashboard or windshield. Secure the 4.3-inch LCD monitor to the mount.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the other end to the monitor. The monitor will power on automatically when the vehicle is started.
  3. Pairing: The camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is needed, refer to the "Operating Instructions" section.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the system operates automatically:

  • Automatic Activation: When you shift your vehicle into reverse, the monitor will automatically display the rear view from the camera.
  • Parking Lines: The monitor displays 6 adjustable parking lines to assist with safe parking.
  • Image Orientation: The camera supports both normal and mirror image display. Adjust this setting via the monitor's menu if needed.
  • Night Vision: The camera's 0.1 Lux illumination and CMOS sensor provide clear images even in low-light conditions.
