  3. Add Fuel: The generator uses gasoline. Locate the fuel tank cap on top of the unit. Fill the tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (less than 10% ethanol). The fuel tank capacity is 6.6 gallons. Securely close the fuel cap after filling.
  4. Battery Installation (for Electric Start): For electric start functionality, a 12V-14AH battery (not included) is required. Install the battery in the designated battery tray, ensuring correct polarity for the connections. The battery tray is located near the engine.

  1. Fuel Valve: Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
  2. Choke Lever: If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position. For a warm engine, the choke may not be necessary.
  3. Engine Control Switch: Insert the key into the engine control switch and turn it to the 'START' position.
  4. Starting the Engine:
    • Electric Start: If a battery is installed, the engine should start automatically.
    • Recoil Start: If using the recoil start, firmly pull the recoil handle until the engine starts.
  5. Choke Adjustment: Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
  6. Connecting Devices: Plug your electrical devices into the appropriate GFCI-protected outlets on the control panel. The generator features various outlets including 120-Volt 50 Amp locking, 120-Volt 20 Amp household, and 120/240 30 Amp locking.
  7. Monitoring: The data center on the control panel reports power percentage and tracks total hours used, which is useful for maintenance scheduling.

To stop the generator, disconnect all electrical loads, turn the engine control switch to 'OFF', and turn the fuel valve to the 'OFF' position.
